YAPI November Notes
November YAPI was a small one, but fun. Some people came all
the way from Dripping Springs, TX just to listen and they loved
it.
Thanks to Stacy Clermont who volunteered to come help with Nov.
YAPI. She and her children helped to unload the equipment and
helped with pictures and sign-up.
Thanks to Cynthia Pickens who is sponsoring YAPI by covering
the cost of a YAPI ad in the Texan Times, the Wimberley High
School paper. Brenda placed one in the Oct. issue. The cost is
$35/ monthly issue.
If anyone else would like to volunteer to help with YAPI in Dec.
or any other month, or to sponsor an ad somewhere, please contact
Brenda at BFreed1@earthlink.net or 512-847-1022. It would be cool if there could be one helper
and one sponsor per month.
YAPI November News
Idlewild Restaurant, the host location for YAPI, is moving to
the Junction of RR 12 and 32 outside of Wimberley, TX. This
is about 5 miles from the Square in Wimberley. Because of the
move, YAPI will take place on the SECOND Thursday of December
instead of the first. That is when the new location will be
ready.
Please mark your calendars for Dec. YAPI, Dec. 9nd. Please don’t
be frightened off because of the new location or because Idlewild
has been closed every evening EXCEPT the first Thursday of the
month. The new Idlewild is open until 9pm on weekdays and let’s
keep making it worth their while to stay open on YAPI nights. Please
come out and perform on Dec. 9 to end the 2004 YAPI season with
a wonderful turnout of young talent!
