YAPI May Notes
A couple of things were particularly exciting about May YAPI. First, several adults and children from the community came out specifically to hear the YAPI entertainment which means people are really interested in the young talent in the area! Second, we welcomed two new performers: 9 year old McCoy Genfan from Martindale (which means word about YAPI is traveling!) and 19 year old Sharon McCully. McCoy did some great readings of some of his original writing and Sharon sang some original songs. Because there were not very many performers we were able to hear several songs by Dylan Meek (14) on piano. We also heard from Ali Engeman on piano.

There will be no YAPI in July or August. However, YAPI will resume in September. See you then and bring a friend.

Please encourage age 19 and under performers to participate in the Young Artist Performance Incubator. YAPI provides a safe and supportive environment for young people who want to hone their skills, share their talents and explore performing.
