Brenda Freed has been teaching guitar, piano and voice for over 25 years.  Her style of teaching is effective for students of all ages whether or not they are naturally musically inclined.  Her line of Effortless Music Instruction Products are intended to bring the joy of playing music or singing to people beyond her private teaching studio. 

As an experienced performer and vocal coach, Brenda Freed teaches an accessible and effective approach to singing in this 2-CD set. It is designed to be used by anyone, beginner or professional, male or female, who wants to learn to sing or improve their singing in some way. The vocal instruction presented is appropriate for any age or level of experience from beginners, just discovering their voices, to pros.  It's great for mothers to practice with their children.  Brenda's experience of teaching voice and her for over 40 years of performing as a singer has led to her unique ability to teach anyone how to develop, improve and maintain a healthy singing voice, effortlessly!

Effortless Harmony Singing Vocal Harmony Instruction Course 2 CD Set

This 2 CD set has 104 minutes of vocal harmony instruction and is designed to be used by anyone, male or female, who wants to learn to sing vocal harmonies. 
  
CD 1 presents instruction that teaches the music theory behind basic harmony singing, including major and minor intervals and chord arpeggios, and interval singing practice. CD 1 is recommended study before CD 2.  

CD 2 teaches how to find harmony from any given note in a chord and provides opportunities to practice singing chord arpeggios, rounds, partner songs and harmony to a song.  CD 2 is designed to be used for practice after study of CD 1.

The complete 2 CD set is appropriate for any singer who wants to learn to sing harmony and for experienced harmony singers who, for example, sing by ear and want to learn more about what they are doing.  The instruction and practice tracks are also useful for choral directors and general music teachers.

Effortless Music Reading Measure Cards Set 1 with the accompanying 16-page Instruction Booklet is designed for the elementary student of any age, and to be used either by teachers, music therapists, parents of smaller children, or in self-study for teenage or adult students.  These measure cards teach note reading and rhythm reading simultaneously in Middle C hand position on the piano. Students who systematically study these measure cards easily progress into Middle C hand position beginning piano literature.
